Facility Description

The production facility in Clear Lake, South Dakota is situated on 640 acres of land. The facility consists of 22 specially designed, reinforced buildings constructed of poured concrete floors, walls and ceilings. All production buildings meet DOD specifications as outlined in the quantity/distance tables.

Reliance on GFE

Technical Ordnance historically has not relied on Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in its performance of prime contracts or subcontracts. The tooling is either already developed and owned by Technical Ordnance or can be quickly attained.

Shared Equipment and Facilities

All facilities used are wholly operated by Technical Ordnance. There are no facility sharing agreements in effect between the Government or commercial concerns and Technical Ordnance.
