Technical Ordnance, Inc. has a 88,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located on 640 acres in Clear Lake, South Dakota. Corporate offices along with engineering, tool-making, and high volume production machine building facilities comprising over 16,000 square feet of floor space are located in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. Clear Lake production lines have the capability to produce more than twenty different types of products on any given day. The lines adjust comfortably to low volume contracts or program requirements for high volume contracts.

As a major defense contractor, Tek Ord has been involved in high volume military program types such as torpedo projects, fuze programs, aerial delivery and recovery systems, artillery and mortar fuzes, bomb fuzes and demolition programs. We also specialize in low volume high reliability detonators and initiators for use in rocket motor ignitors, rocket destruct systems components and various military safety systems compliment high volume products.
